Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled at the end of each visit. Please use the secure patient portal through Charm Health to send us a request to change or make a new appointment. Please allow up to two business days for a response
Please note the following:
1. Missed appointments, or appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, are subject to a $50 fee. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled appointment are considered missed appointments and will need to be rescheduled.
2. Patients who have not been seen within the past six months will require a new psychiatric evaluation and need to schedule as a new patient.

If you are unable to access the secure patient portal, please send us a text message at (480)-913-5872, however, do not include any protected health information in your message. Should you need to discuss protected health information and cannot access the patient portal, please use the link to our secure messaging platform, Spruce listed below under "Secure Messaging."

Please note the following:
1. Patient's must directly request refills on controlled stimulant medications every month. Refill requests that are received from the pharmacy for any controlled substances will be denied. Please send a message using the secure patient portal through Charm Health 3-5 days before running out of your medication.
2. We do not provide early refills on controlled substances for any reason, including, lost or stolen medications.
3. We do not prescribe new medications outside of an appointment. Please schedule a follow-up appointment should you wish to discuss a new medication outside of your current medication regimen.
4. Refills will not be provided for any patient who has missed their scheduled follow-up appointment or has not followed up within the requested time frame. Medication bridges until a follow up appointment will be considered on a case-by-case basis and at the provider's discretion.
4. Please allow up to two business days for a response to all medication refill requests.
Please note that Cactus Garden Mental Health Services does not offer crisis or after-hours services.

If you do not have access to the patient portal and need to send or receive protected health information, please contact us using our secure messaging platform, Spruce. You will need to download the Spruce app to access the secure messaging system. Instructions for use, including how to download the app and a QR code can be found by clicking on the link below.
You may opt to text us at (480)-913-5872. Please note that text messaging is not considered a secure form of communication and protected health information should not be shared using this method. Please use the secure patient portal or secure messaging service listed above should you need to transmit or receive protected health information.
